Are your customers having trouble locating the Zip code field on your payment page?
If you’ve received support emails from your customers telling you the Zip/Postal code field is missing and they can’t complete their checkout, you’re not alone. It’s a question we get fairly often, because at first glance, it’s not there!
With Stripe Elements, ZIP/Postal code is collected in the first box on the screen. As the card is entered, Stripe figures out the country that the card was issued in and decides what to name the field based on that. Then, it slides the field in as you enter more credit card info, like this (watch for the Post code field on the right):
